TARDEBIGGE Fair and Show once again looks set to provide superb fun on Saturday, September 12, with entertainment and bargains making a great afternoon out for all the family.

This popular traditional country fair will be opened at 1.30pm by Peppa Pig. It is held in and around Tardebigge Church and school, just off the A448 between Redditch and Bromsgrove, right next to the canal and directly on bus route 143.

Inside beautiful St Bartholomew’s Church itself is the produce show, displaying award-winning flowers, vegetables, preserves, baking, photographs and more.

Anyone can enter, they just need to bring entries to the church before 11am on the day. Full information about all competition classes is available from the back of the church, from tardebiggechurch.org.uk or call 01527 540546.

Outside the church, the fair will have displays of classic cars, motorbikes, music and dancing, with a bouncy castle and children’s corner for younger visitors. Refreshments of all sorts are available throughout the afternoon, and cakes, plants, DVDs, books and bric-à-brac will also be on sale.

There will be the usual high-quality raffle - with a top prize of £250 cash - together with chocolate and bottle tombolas, games of skill such as skittles, a coconut shy and crazy golf, all offering the chance to win prizes.
