RESIDENTS in Redditch and the surrounding area are being invited by Worcestershire County Council to find out more about becoming a foster carer.
Worcestershire Fostering Service staff and foster carers will be out and about in the community talking to members of the public about fostering today Wednesday, July 29 between 10am and 5.30pm at The Kingfisher Shopping Centre.
The aim of the free drop-in session is to give people the chance to find out more about fostering and the process involved in becoming a foster carer and to answer any questions.
Barbara Carter, head of Fostering at Worcestershire County Council said: “By becoming a foster carer you will be able to make a real difference to life chances for children and young people.
