POLICE are seeking witnesses and information after a16 year-old boy was attacked by three men on Mason Road in Redditch.

The victim, a 16 year-old boy was walking home on Friday, July 17 at approximately 10.40pm when he was approached by the men.

He was then assaulted in a unprovoked attack, receiving minor facial injuries and cuts and bruises which were treated at Alexandra Hospital.

The suspects stole his Calvin Klein man bag before making off.

The first of the male offenders has been described by police as a white man of approximately 18 years of age, of slim build, about 6ft 4ins in height and wearing tight blue jeans and a white top.

The second offender was a white man approximately 18 years of age, of a medium build, about 6ft and wearing a black jacket with blue stripes down the sides.

Suspect has been described as a white man, approximately 18 years of age, also about 6ft in height and wearing jeans.

Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident around the mentioned time, or may have any information relating to it, to call West Mercia Police on 101, quoting the number 861s of 17th July.
