A REDDITCH man has been arrested on suspicion of rape following an incident at the Traders Arms in Bromsgrove Road.
A woman in her 20s is believed to have been attacked between 1.30am and 2am on Friday, July 24.
The 25-year-old man has been released on bail until August 24 pending further inquiries.
Previously, the Advertiser reported that Redditch Council rejected an application to sell alcohol at the unlicensed club, on the grounds it would increase crime and disorder in the area, following complaints from concerned residents and the police.
A drugs warrant was also executed at the pub last month and as a result three people were arrested on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs including former pub owner Riaz Khan.
