FOOD lovers will be able to sample a wide variety of food when they attend this year’s Morton Stanley Festival.
A mini food festival selling Portuguese, Malaysian, African, Caribbean and tradition British cuisine will be available in the main field.
It will run at the same time as the music festival between 1pm and 11pm on August 22 and 1pm and 7pm on Sunday, August 23.
Councillor for leisure services Pat Witherspoon said: “We’re a town that is proud to be multicultural so I think it is very fitting that we should have a food festival with food from all around the world.
“It will be interesting to try some new and exciting foods but it’s good to know some more familiar British favourites are available too.”
Anyone interested in providing a stall at Morton Stanley Festival can contact Redditch Borough Council’s arts and events team on 01527 534030.
