STUDENTS from St Augustine's High School were recently treated to a special performance from X-Factor finalist Charlie Healy.

The singer visited the school to oversee the hand over of the proceeds from the school's fundraising day for Bethany’s Wish, a charity that supports Wilms' Tumour, a type of kidney cancer.

Charlie entertained students with his phenomenal vocals in two sessions and got the audience involved with some participation getting everyone dancing, clapping and singing.

Charlie introduced his soon to be released single, Playground, along with songs from Daft Punk, Ed Sheeran and Nick Jonas.

He then gave students the opportunity to ask questions about his charity work and his musical career before the hand over of a cheque for £500 to the charity.
