MOVE over One Direction, there is a new boy band on the beat.
St Bede's Catholic Middle School pupils were treated to a very special performance by Louis Walsh's new hopefuls Hometown.
The six-piece band sang to pupils and answered questions about their career so far which includes a number of sold out shows in their native Ireland.
Their debut single, Where I Belong, became the fastest-selling single from a debut artist and the quickest-selling single from an Irish artist in 2014.
A spokesman from the Redditch school said staff as well as pupils will be keenly following the band's progress.
