YOUNGSTERS can take their super hero teddies on an exciting adventure this Easter with Forge Mill Museum.

Younger visitors are being encouraged to dress up their teddies as super heroes and bring them when visiting the museum.

Children that bring along their dressed up super-teds can run them through a series of challenges, teaching them to fly, jump out of a building and pose for a picture.

The Super-Teddy challenge will take place between Tuesday, March 31 and Saturday, April 11 and is running alongside the ‘Retro Marvel Now’ comic book exhibition at the museum.

Debbie Lakeman, from Forge Mill, said: “We can’t wait to see all those super-teddies at the museum accompanied by their super-kid side-kicks. The challenge is a great way to get children using their imagination as well as having a bit of fun over the Easter holiday.”

There are also some inspiring Marvel drawing workshops taking place on Wednesday and Thursday, April 8 and 9 with Lee Bradley, the artist behind the exhibition.

Workshops are available for eight to 12-year-olds in the morning and those aged 12 and over in the afternoon.

These workshops have been funded by the Redditch School of Art Trust via the Redditch Arts Council and places can be booked by contacting the museum.
