COUGHTON Court near Alcester is set to open its doors for the new season after three months of essential maintenance work.
The English Tudor country house will be open from Sunday, March 1 and from Wednesday, April 1 visitors will be able to explore the new theme of Secrets and Intrigue, admire the gardens and find out what events will be taking place.
A number of the gilt framed paintings have been taken down to prevent damage from potential leaks from the ceiling and all the wooden furniture has been dusted.
Museum wax is used to clean iron, steel, copper and brass providing a protective seal for the upcoming season.
