PEOPLE entering Kingfisher Shopping Centre’s Worcester Square might notice a few changes of late, as the mall undergoes a huge facelift.

The centre now boasts a much lighter, brighter space with feature lighting and plenty of seating for shoppers to rest.

The latest design Costa Coffee store provides drinks and snacks before shoppers continue on their shopping adventure.

Also on show in the new look Worcester Square is a giant LED TV, the biggest of its kind in Europe.

Manufactured and supplied by Lush Digital Media, the TV will show advertising programmed by One Media and Elonex, who are behind the eye-catching advertising on the M6 in Birmingham.

The TV will also feature various updates from the centre itself including upcoming events and special offers.

New defined walkways for shoppers and specific areas for retail units improve mobility around the centre and shop fronts with modern graphics and bold colours give a sense of style.

Ken Williams, Kingfisher’s general manager, said: “We wanted to bring Worcester Square into the 21st century and I think that the new facelift has really gives the centre a modern, stylish feel.

“The Kingfisher is at the heart of Redditch’s community and by modernising the centre, we’re not only creating creating a bright new space for residents to shop, but also a thriving community hub for people to meet, eat and shop.”

Works will continue in the centre throughout 2015, with improvements to Evesham Walk and further developments in The Hub entertainment centre.
