WEST Mercia Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted near The Palace Theatre in Redditch Town Centre.
The incident took place on Sunday, November 30 at approximately 2am.
The victim had been ejected from The Warwick Arms Pub and was then pursued by possibly four men through an underpass to an area near the theatre.
The victim was then physically assaulted while he lay on the ground.
Anyone who may have been in area at the time of the incident or may have seen anything suspicious is being asked to contact police on the non-emergency number 101 and quote the incident reference 101s of November 30.
