AMERICAN style diner and milkshake bar Tinseltown has opened the 11th branch of the popular restaurant chain, bringing a touch of Hollywood glamour to the Kingfisher Shopping Centre.

Tinseltown Redditch will boast a capacity of 150 retro booths, a VIP suite and more than 40 kinds of shakes and 20 burgers to choose from, as well as a vast selection of wraps, steaks, grills and desserts.

All food is Halal.

Tinseltown first opened its doors in Farringdon, London as a family owned business.

Since then, the restaurant has grown into a chain with locations in London, Birmingham and Leicester.

A spokesman said: “We have spent a considerable amount of time in Redditch and around the Kingfisher Centre and we are really excited to be serving the wonderful people of Redditch.

"Tinseltown hopes to bring the glamour of Hollywood to the Kingfisher while also providing more jobs for the local community. We have now opened and will be delighted to welcome new customers and staff.”

Tinseltown is the latest addition to The Hub, the Kingfisher Centre’s new dedicated dining and leisure area that is also home to Nando’s and Real China.

Ken Williams, general manager of the Kingfisher, said: “Tinseltown will be a fantastic addition to The Hub and will offer our shoppers a unique dining experience that they can’t get anywhere else in town.

“We’re dedicated to creating a space for shoppers to take a break from shopping and The Hub offers the perfect place to catch a film or enjoy a meal with friends. It’s important to us that the Kingfisher is part of the community and The Hub is fast becoming a focal point for people to meet and relax whilst at the centre."

He added: “With Tinseltown and the opening of our beautiful new Swarovski shop, we’re really hoping to make Redditch sparkle this Christmas.”
