COUGHTON Court is holding its annual Winter Festival this weekend with the house decorated for a traditional Christmas, festive music and a range of crafts and gifts on offer.

The festival will run every day from Saturday, November 22 to Sunday, November 30 from 11am to 5pm.

Local schools will be singing carols in the saloon by a roaring fire and the National Trust Shop will be open with a range for gift ideas.

On both weekends, a traditional festive market will take place in the stable yard selling a variety of local produce and gifts.

During the event, Coughton Kitchen Restaurant will be serving festive lunches, mulled wine and mince pies.

Father Christmas, in traditional green robes, will be meeting children in his festive study over both weekends.

Children will be able to write their Christmas list on a postcard and post it to Father Christmas in the Coughton Court post box, when they leave.

Abi Cole, marketing and events officer at Coughton Court, said: “Christmas at Coughton is always a very special time for the team here, who are well underway with preparations for this year’s event and there will even be a few surprises for our returning visitors. It’s always lovely seeing our visitors enjoying the festive cheer and we hope a visit to Coughton becomes one of your favourite Christmas traditions.”
