CARERS Careline are hosting a training session next week which will look at common scams and how to avoid them.
The training is being provided by Home Instead and is open to the general public as well as those carers registered with Carers Careline.
It is being held on Wednesday, October 22 from 1pm until 2pm at the Ecumenical Centre in Redditch town centre.
The training will help people including the elderly and vulnerable identify and protect themselves from the most common scams which usually come through the postal system and also criminals who contact them by telephone.
If anyone is interested in attending the training session, they can either turn up on the day or contact Carers Careline beforehand to confirm their attendance on 01527 66177.
