YMCA in Redditch, along with Redditch Early Help, recently hosted a community day for local people.

Nail painting and messy play, a bouncy castle and the chance to have a go in the stocks were just a just a few of the activities on offer.

The day was aimed as an opportunity for local people to come along and meet the staff to find out more about what services and activities are available for them at The Redditch Early Help Centres and the YMCA ,as well as to enjoy the free fun on offer.

Hayley Price, YMCA Willow Trees Community Centre manager, said: “It’s great to be joint working with local organisations to provide such an exciting day for local families.

"The community spirit runs very high in Church Hill and the surrounding areas so this was a great opportunity for families to meet us and for us to meet them to show the services that we provide.”
