UNFORTUNATELY, due to unforeseen circumstances, Layers, the headline band for Saturday afternoon at this weekend's Morton Stanley Festival are unable to attend.
Although the news is disappointing, music-lovers have nothing to fear, as festival organisers have scored a superb replacement.
A spokesman said: "We are absolutely delighted to say that Dan Sealey (Ocean Colour Scene and Merrymouth) and Adam Barry (Merrymouth) have stepped in at short notice for this coming Saturday 4pm slot.
"Onstage at 4pm they will treat audiences with some of their favourite Ocean Colour Scene and Merrymouth material."
Morton Stanley Festival takes place on Saturday from 1pm until 11pm, on 1pm to 7pm and will feature a huge array of performers, stalls, and plenty of entertainment for all the family. Admission is free.
