WHEN the thrills and excitement of the Peal Izumi Tour Series arrived in Redditch in June, shops and businesses were set a special bike-related challenge.
The challenge was set by Choose how you move, and it was to decorate shop and business fronts with displays of all things cycling, to welcome the riders from the Tour Series to the town and create a biking buzz for residents.
The winner was the accountancy firm Charles Lovell & Co, based at 8 Church Green East, and it was recently presented with a voucher for a meal for four at Rilys Indian restaurant in Redditch.
CHOOSE officer for Choose how you move Redditch, Fiona Allen, said: "The competition went really well and we were pleased with how people got into the spirit of the event.
"We chose Charles Lovell & Co as the winners as they went to great effort and captured the excitement of the Tour Series coming to town."
