A REDDITCH women has organised two events to raise vital cash for charity.

Sue Ebanks, from Winyates, sadly lost her sister Carol Corbin in 2012 after she was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour.

Carol left behind her husband and three young children.

Both events will be raising much needed cash for Brain Tumour Research, established in 2008, to raise funds for research into the prevention and treatment of brain tumours, as well as ultimately finding a cure.

Mrs Ebanks said: "Our aim is to raise as much money as possible for Brain Tumour Research to try and find a cure for this devastating disease."

The first event, on July 12 is a 24 hour team exercise challenge which involves keeping two bikes going for 24 hours at Viking Boxing and Fitness Gym in Lakeside.

The second event, on Saturday, July 19, is a family fun day at Webheath Village Hall.

From 2.30pm until 5.30pm there will be a number of activities such as beat the goalie, a jumble sale, hula competition, raffle, tombola, and refreshments including a BBQ.
