PEOPLE are invited to get ready for fun in the sun at the Bridge (formerly St Luke’s) Summer Fete on Saturday, June 28 from 11am until 3pm.
There will be exhibitions from a photographic society, an art group, and the Kingfisher Quilters.
This year there will be affordable stalls specifically for the young that will include a children’s tombola, beautiful jewellery for girls, and some for boys, hook-a-duck, the Human Fruit Machine and many more fun games.
There are numerous stalls for the adults and a return of the stocks for people who are brave enough.
Big beefy burgers and sizzling sausages will be available from the Boys Brigade barbecues with cream teas or ploughman's and drinks in the hall .
Also in the hall there will be a well stocked cake stall and a Fair Trade counter. From noon there will be live entertainment in the church with rousing music from Spirit 2, lively songs from the Bridge Youth Singers plus solos from Lexi Baker and Alice Heming.
A spokesman said: "Come along and help us to raise church funds while having a fantastic day out."
