RESIDENTS are being invited to do something amazing.
NHS Blood and Transplant is appealing for volunteers to attend a blood donor session in Studley Village Hall to help meet the demand for blood from local hospitals.
A spokesman from NHS Blood and Transplant said: "With just four per cent of the eligible population giving blood, we always need new donors."
The session is on Thursday, June 19 from 1.30pm to 3.30pm and then again from 4.30pm to 7pm.
It is strongly recommend that anyone thinking of attending call 0300 1232323 to book an appointment.
