ROUTINE work to clear vegetation away from power lines running through Arrow Valley Country Park has begun.
The statutory work by engineers and tree surgeons from Fountains Forestry on behalf of Western Power Distribution began on Tuesday, June 10 and is not expected to restrict any use of the 900 acre park and lake.
The contractor will erect the necessary safety signs and works are expected to be carried out over a period of about a month.
The periodic clearing away of growth helps to ensure power lines are not disrupted and that the supply of power to homes, businesses and industry in Redditch is secure.
