STUDENTS at North East Worcestershire (NEW) College have organised a special end of year show at a Bromsgrove venue.

The college's production arts and fashion students will be showing all the student's work from over their years at the college at the event, being held this evening, June 11.

This one off show is aiming to highlight the diverse approach to fashion and production arts that NEW College has to offer.

It consists of several sections including a body painting performance, a fashion catwalk, special effects, fantasy hair, as well as a piece by performing arts students.

The work has been produced by the college's year two extended diploma and foundation diploma art and design students, as well as year one and year two production arts students.

Some of it was first showcased at the Clothes Show Live event, held at the NEC in Birmingham last year.

One of the organisers, Amy Franklin, said: "We are trying to get as large a turnout from the community as possible, to support the pupils involved and give them the confidence to be able to further their creative careers."

The show is taking place from 7pm at the Artrix Theatre, in School Drive.
