A CONCRETE mixer is being decorated with the St George’s flag as part of a campaign to raise money for the Primrose Hospice.
People who manage to spot the Accumix Concrete mixer, christened George, anywhere in the West Midlands, and take a photograph of it, are being asked to send their photographs in to the company, which is planning to make a £10 donation to the charity for every unique location they receive a picture from.
The mixers are a common site around the area, but only one of the 11 in the fleet has its own flag decoration.
Managing director Steve Phillips, said: “Accumix Concrete is committed to helping local charities, but we also wanted to show that we are supporting England in the World Cup, so this seemed like a great way to do both. We hope everyone will get behind this campaign and help raise vital funds for a local hospice.”
Anyone who sees George making a delivery can email the photograph they take of him to george@accumix.co.uk giving the street name, area, time and date it was taken.
