CHILDREN at Ridgeway Middle School are celebrating after receiving the great results of their Functional Skills Exams which they sat in March.
A total of 98 per cent of children passed their Level One English with 79 per cent successful in passing the more difficult Level Two paper.
A total of 93 per cent of youngsters passed Level Two ICT and an amazing 100 per cent of the children passed their Level One and Level Two Maths.
Headteacher Mike Bennett said: “We are all very proud of the children who, at the tender age of 12 and 13, have achieved Level One and Level Two Functional Skills which are half a GCSE.
"Huge congratulations to the boys and girls who achieved this."
