POLICE are appealing for information about the theft of 100 tyres worth £3,000 during a burglary at an industrial estate in Redditch.
It happened at Mr Tyre, Arthur Street, between 6.30pm on Friday, March 14 and 8.30am on Saturday, March 15.
Offenders climbed on to the pitched corrugated roof and made five 2ft sq holes in it. They got in and stole the tyres from off storage racks and left the same way.
They would have needed a van or heavy goods vehicle to transport the tyres in.
The amount of damage caused to the roof is not known.
Witnesses or anyone with information, including anyone who sees tyres offered for sale in suspicious circumstances, are asked to contact PC Stu Collins at West Mercia Police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting incident 194-s-150313 or ring the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
