THE 21-year-old woman who died after being stabbed yesterday has been named by police as Kirsty Wright.
Ms Wright was taken to hospital after being stabbed at a property in Evesham Road in Redditch yesterday and died this morning.
A 29-year-old male arrested at the scene remains in custody and police are not searching for any other suspects at this time.
Superintendent Kevin Purcell, North Worcestershire police commander, said: "I would like to reassure the community that these incidents are rare and that Redditch is a safe place to live, work and visit.
"We will work with the community to bring the offender to justice and support the family, who my thoughts are with at this difficult time."
