A STUDLEY man has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, following an incident at the Bell Inn Public House in the village last year.

Jack Adrian Davies, an 18-year-old plumber from Westmead Avenue in Studley was charged in relation to an incident which took place on Friday, October 18, 2013.

He was arrested the following day, but following questioning, he was released on police bail with strict conditions pending further enquiries.

On December 11 of last year, Mr Davies’ bail conditions were amended to include a ban on entering any public houses in Studley or Alcester. The ban extended over the Christmas period and is still in place.

Mr Davies was charged on Thursday, February 6 and released on conditional bail with the same restrictions. He is to appear at Leamington Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, February 20.
