A WOMAN broke her wrist when she was in collision with a motorcycle which failed to stop in Redditch.
It happened at about 7.30pm on Saturday, February 8 in Hewell Road, near Hewell Road newsagent, as the 40-year-old was crossing over towards the direction of Enfield Road.
She had nearly reached the other side when she was hit by a motorcycle travelling along Hewell Road towards Redditch, which failed to stop and sped off in the direction of the town centre.
The victim was taken to the Alexandra Hospital by a relative and treated for injuries including a broken left wrist and swelling and bruising to her left knee.
House to house inquiries have been carried out.
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone who knows who the motorcyclist was to contact PC Claire Wright on the non-emergency number 101 quoting incident 690-s-080214 or ring the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
