IT’S that time of year again when people across Redditch are asked to remember a loved one, and at the same time, do something amazing for the Primrose Hospice.
Every year, the hospice holds its Tree of Lights appeal, when people are invited to dedicate a donation to remember a loved one at Christmas time, and have their names included in the hospice’s remembrance books.
In Redditch, there will be remembrance books at the Kingfisher Shopping Centre’s Worcester Square, around the tree, at Thomas Brothers Funeral Directors in Crabbs Cross, and at Redditch Crematorium.
The books will be on display from November 30 until January 6, and there will be a church service at St Stephen’s Church, in Redditch Town Centre, on Sunday, November 24.
The person being remembered does not have to have been a patient or have any connection with Primrose Hospice, all remembrance donations are accepted gratefully.
Donations will go towards providing help and support to the Primrose Hospice’s patients, and their families.
People make their dedication online by visiting www.primrosehospice.org or by calling 01527 889796. They can also pop into Primrose Hopice shops in Alcester Street, Redditch, and Studley High Street.
