A REDDITCH cyclist who came off his bike in Inkberrow last month has died.
The incident happened in High Street, near the Bulls Head pub, at about 11.25am on Sunday, September 29.
The cyclist, Clint William Fidler, 54, of Tredington Close, Redditch, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham with serious head and chest injuries.
He died on Tuesday, October 8.
Police are now appealing for witnesses and any information about the incident.
PC Michael Haines of West Mercia Police said: “An inquiry was launched to establish what happened, and establishing the full facts obviously becomes even more imperative now that Mr Fidler has sadly died.”
“I am appealing for anyone who saw Mr Fidler riding in Inkberrow that morning to contact me on the non-emergency number 101 quoting incident 258-s-290913.”
Mr Fidler was wearing all in one cycling gear which was short sleeved, short legged, and was black and grey in colour.
