Toddlers do their bit to help bereavement charity
12:20pm Tuesday 8th October 2013 in Local
REDDITCH and Bromsgrove toddlers have been taking part in a national event to raise money for bereavement charity Once Upon A Smile.
During the sponsored event, organised by Pyjama Drama, the children learnt a special song and played games, all designed to ‘chase the blues away’.
The special free session, suitable for children under five, was held at Webheath Village Hall. It was one of over 25 events run by Pyjama Drama across the UK.
Pyjama Drama has been running drama and imaginative play classes in Redditch and Bromsgrove for a year. With four different age groups up to seven years, the classes help develop key skills like communication, confidence, creative, co-operation and creative problem solving.
Once Upon A Smile provides support to families that have lost a child or children that have lost a parent to a long term or terminal illness.
People can still donate by texting PJDR99 and the donation amount to 70070.
