A FRIENDLY bunch of bikers are once again hitting the road to raise money for charity.

RMT Motorcycle Training and Riders Club is organising a motorcycle charity ride for this Sunday, September 22.

All riders from the area to welcomed to join the ride, which will start from the RMT Motorcycle Training offices at the Rubicon Centre, Lakeside, at 9.30am.

The group will travel down through into the Cotswolds, stopping for a break near Stow on the Wold, before heading back to The Washford Mill pub in Redditch for a chat and refreshments afterwards.

The total mileage will be less than 100 miles.

Each bike will be asked to contribute a mere £10 on the day, the money raised will be split between two charities.

Simon Hayes, owner of RMT Motorcycle Training, said: “These events are about giving something back to organisations and individuals that do fantastic things for people in need and work tirelessly to help us and our families all year round.

“It is also a great opportunity to get a group of likeminded people together who show their support every year, we see friends old and new and enjoy their company along the way."

He added: "We would love to see as many people as possible joining us.

"We are aiming for about 100 bikes this year, which will help reach a grand total of over £1,000.”
