WITNESSES and information are being sought following the theft of metal worth £7,000 from a company in Redditch.
It happened between 7.30pm and 8.30pm on Sunday, February 3, at a company in Pipers Road.
Thieves broke in and stole large quantities of high value metals including nickel and chrome.
Investigating officer PC James Campbell said: "We are eager to hear from anyone who remembers seeing suspicious activity in this area, especially any vehicles parked in unusual circumstances.
"Any local businesses who buy metal are warned to be on the look out for anyone selling nickel or chrome. If you are offered some for sale and are in any doubt about its origin then please call us straight away."
Witnesses or anyone with information should contact PC Campbell on 101, quoting incident 55-S-040213, or ring the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
