A BEAUTY business run by Lord Alan Sugar and former Apprentice candidate Susan Ma has held a special pre-launch event in Redditch.

Tropic Pure Plant Beauty will be launched to the nation in May but a number of events are taking place before hand to recruit staff.

People are being sought to be self-employed "ambassadors" – effectively people who will sell the products and promote the company.

Ambassadors can be full-time or part-time, or do it just as a hobby or even to raise cash for a charity.

Ms Ma, who was just 21 when she made it to the 2011 final of the popular BBC TV series, said: “Lord Sugar got involved with The Apprentice to inspire the nation to do what he did and build their own businesses.

"This is his way of showing people, here it is, the products are ready, we've got the training, everything you need, so come join us and start your own business with us."

The pre-launch event, raising cash for Cancer Research, took place at The Southcrest Manor Hotel on Sunday.

Anyone interested in becoming an ambassador, can call 07989782636.
