SOME residents and businesses in Church Hill are breathing a sigh of relief after their phone lines were repaired.
Repair work on the lesser damaged of three cables, which are believed to have been damaged by metal thieves, went to plan overnight and some customers have had their services restored.
A BT spokesman said: "Work continues on replacing the other two cables and will continue, so more people will have their services back on today and into the evening and weekend."
It you run a business which suffered as a result of the damage to the BT cables, email helen.clarke@midlands.newsquest.co.uk to share your experiences.
