REDDITCH’S MP spent time over the festive period visiting several care homes and sheltered accommodation schemes to look at the work staff do for their elderly residents.
Karen Lumley visited Terry Spring Court, in Smallwood, The Brambles Care Home and Stonebridge Nursing Home, both in Headless Cross.
She said the work at all three was of a “very high quaity” and added: “Christmas can be a difficult time for the elderly so it was very good to see the excellent work staff were doing to ensure there was both a good atmosphere and activities for residents to enjoy.”
