MEMBERS of Redditch Railway Interest Group have recently celebrated the organisation’s 20th anniversary at Redditch Rugby Club.
The group initially met at the former Leys High School, later Kingsley College, and now meets monthly at the Forge Mill Museum.
A filmshow by John Constable featuring railways and tramways will be the theme of the next meeting of the group on Friday, January 11, at 2pm at Forge Mill Museum. The presentation will include archive film of pre-war Birmingham trams and other tramways, together with a selection of steam railway scenes.
