THROUGHOUT the year, the Redditch Town Centre Chaplaincy offers support to those working in the town centre throughout the year.

This year, it has organised a special carol service which will be held at St Stephen’s Church on Church Green on Wednesday, December 19 at 6pm.

The Rev Paul Lawlor, a town centre chaplain, said: “Particularly at Christmas, it’s great to focus on the community that surrounds us as we work in the town centre, and on the meaning of Christmas.

“We hope the service provides a moment of peace in the midst of all the activity leading up to Christmas for those who work and volunteer in the town centre.”
