THERE will be a festive twist to this week’s PACT meeting in Winyates, as residents will get a chance to call in to the Winyates Community Carol Concert beforehand.
The concert is taking place on Thursday, December 6 from 6pm, and PACT panel members will be there is support before they step up to answer questions from members of the community.
There will be feedback on issues raised at the last PACT meeting including fire alarms being activated on a regular basis in flats on Dolben Lane, as well as the chance to talk to representatives from the council and police.
Winyates officer PC Paul Kennedy, said: “Anyone living or working locally is welcome to attend the carol concert. It is a lovely opportunity for people to come together and get into the Christmas spirit.
“They will also have the opportunity to speak to a PACT panel member should they have any issues they wish to raise.
“If for any reason they cannot make it but want to raise an issue they can still do so by contacting the local policing team.”
