Appeal to find woman who witnessed Redditch collision

POLICE in Redditch are appealing for a woman who witnessed a collision between a car and a pedestrian to come forward.

A man received a fractured shoulder after he was involved in a collision on Salters Lane near the junction with Hazel Road at about 5pm Tuesday, October 30.

The impact of the collision caused the man to hit and smash the windscreen of the car before landing on the road.

PC Steve Ryall from Redditch police station is investigating the incident.

He said: "After the man collided with the vehicle, a woman who saw what happened stayed with him, but left the scene without leaving her details.

"The car involved in the collision is thought to be a Rover and the driver is described as a white, middle aged woman, with brown hair.

“While she did stop to see if the injured man was ok, she also did not leave her details and we are obviously keen to speak to her too.

"I would appeal to both of these women to get in touch so that we can establish the full circumstances of this collision and how the man came by his injuries."

Anyone with information about this incident can call PC Ryall on 0300 333 3000, quoting 178N 301012.
