Residents across Worcestershire are being asked to have their say on local services as the latest Viewpoint Survey which is now live.

Viewpoint allows residents to give us their views on their local area. Public services, the economy, satisfaction with roads and services for people with a learning disability are among the hot topics in the latest Worcestershire Viewpoint Survey. Worcestershire County Council, the district councils, NHS Worcestershire and Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue are all keen to hear residents' views.

Questions such as: - Generally speaking, would you like to be more involved in the decisions that affect your local area? How safe or unsafe do you feel when outside in your local area after dark? How satisfied or dissatisfied are you with local health services?

To access the Viewpoint survey residents can register on the Viewpoint panel by going to www.worcestershire.gov.uk/viewpoint. The latest survey, which can be completed online, runs until the end of November.

Residents across Worcestershire who complete the survey could win a selection of prizes, Worcestershire County Council from an Adult Learning Short Course of their choice, to a month's free gym membership, or even a Kindle Fire depending on where they live. People who sign up to Worcestershire Viewpoint are asked to complete two surveys a year, giving them a chance to have their say about local services and issues affecting their local area. The answers are used to inform future decision-making about what services are provided and how, which is particularly vital in the current economic climate.

Although the survey can be completed by anyone, the Council is particularly interested to hear from residents under the age of 35 who have been under-represented in previous surveys.

The questions should take no longer than 20 minutes to fill out with simple tick box answers; however the opportunity to expand on ideas and opinions is offered.

Any Worcestershire resident aged 18 and over can register today at www.worcestershire.gov.uk/viewpoint; they will then be invited to complete the latest survey. For anyone without internet access, the survey can be completed online at any of the County Council's Libraries and in Worcestershire Hub customer centres.
