A BROMSGROVE financial planning firm, which was recently named one of the top 100 in the country, is in line for another national award.

Isidore Road-based Redbourne Wealth Management has been shortlisted for the title of Investment Adviser of the Year in the Moneyfacts 2014 Awards.

The awards, which bring together UK financial providers, sees Redbourne pitching the quality of its advice alongside the likes of Chase de Vere and Bestinvest.

Redbourne's senior financial planner Chris Payton said: "We've been fortunate enough to win a number of major awards lately, including one run by the Financial Times. We were named one of the top 100 movers and shakers in financial planning in the country last year and we're thrilled to be going head to head with some big league players."

Moneyfacts supplies personal finance data to the Government and the Bank of England and is the research organisation behind the Best Buy columns in the FT, the Guardian and the Daily Mail.

Judges drawing up the shortlist studied testimonials from Redbourne's clients, which include comments such as " great service, with a very personable approach," "gives exceptional value for money" "well informed," "straightforward, pleasant and easily understood," "always acts with integrity," "has my best interests at heart" and "open and honest."

The awards will be presented in London in September by impressionist Jon Culshaw.
