New Project for the New Year?

These are tough times for many and in these difficult days the Citizens Advice Bureau is in increasing demand. Our workload is increasing.......there is so much need for the help and experience we give.

We have a brilliant team here at the Wyre Forest CAB (I am biased of course!) but we are finding our services increasingly stretched both in terms of manpower and finances. Don't forget Citizens Advice is mainly staffed by volunteers. We are a charity and not a government department ( believe me...some people think we are!) and because of this are able to give free and unbiased help to those who walk into our bureau with varying needs.

At the heart of Citizens Advice is a desire to help where there is need and to bring about change where there are unfair and unjust situations. WE NEED MORE VOLUNTEERS. Maybe you could spare a few hours a week to get involved. It's rewarding, challenging and fun working with the great team at the Wyre Forest Bureau. There are many areas you can help from reception to advising clients to admin back up, and full training is always given. Maybe campaigning is your thing....then you could volunteer to be part of our Social Policy team.

We want to continue the work we are doing.....giving support, helping those with needs and maybe fighting your corner where necessary to bring about change and you could play a part in that.

Or

Why not pop in to our offices in New Street and talk to us about volunteering. Look us up on our website (www.wyreforestcab.org.uk)

It could be the best decision you ever made and we would love to have you on board.
