I can't believe it's March already, i know i have not done one of these blog posts in quite a while but to be honest the time just flys by and there has'nt really been a great deal going on in my life anyway but i do have some big news i may have already mentioned in previous posts.

On the 29th March this year i will be going with my school to Gambia, for the past few months i have been involved in something called project Gambia, this has involved fundraising and rasing £50 i did this by baking cakes and other things for my family, this money will be used to be mosquito nets and rice for the families in the Gambia. I honestly can't believe it's now less that a month till i will be going and i must say i can't wait it really will be a trip of a lifetime and one i'm sure i will never forget.

As you know in October i took a trip to New York, well this will be a life changing experience in a different way, this will show me how little these people have and will make me appreciate what i have in my life and that sometimes i should be gratefull for these things instead of wanting all of the time. Were going to Gambia for 7 days during the Easter holidays, we will be doing many things this will involve visiting schools and doing all sorts of different activites with the children e.g. arts and crafts etc, we will also be painting the classrooms and other manual tasks, this is mainly a working holiday but i can't wait as it will be a shock factor but it's one in my life at the moment i think i need.

I will do another post on here possibly a day before i go just to tell you how i'm feeling, i have to admit i will greatly miss my family as i have never been this far away from them and i'm only 15 however i believe this is something i need to do and i know i will enjoy.
