RESIDENTS of Binton recently held their annual Scarecrow Day, with a competition to design and build their own scarecrows.
The winning entry was a recreation of the classic PL Travers children's character, supernanny Mary Poppins.
Her creators Sarah Gibson-Smith, Jesse Gibson-Smith and Mo Smith, received joint first prize in the competition for their efforts, presented by the Rev Peter Walker of Binton Parish. Photo supplied by Charlotte Doran Davies.
