Man admits stealing from Redditch Council

A MAN from Bidford-on-Avon has been sentenced to a 12-month community order and 150 hours community service at Worcester Crown Court.
Nick Watkins, 60, pleaded guilty to eight counts of theft by employee amounting to just under £1,000 and to one charge of false accounting.
The offences took place between February 2005 and September 2007 while Mr Watkins was employed by Redditch Borough Council.
Police thanked the council for their co-operation during the investigation.
