ADDING to the town's CCTV system, dog fouling and litter were all discussed as priorities in the recent Alcester PACT meeting.
The meeting, which gave residents the chance to meet with local police and councillors and discuss issues of concern, took place on February 18 at the Greig.
Sergeant Stuart Wild, from Alcester South's Safer Neighbourhood team, said: "The main priorities from the meeting included extra CCTV for Alcester High Street and Henley Street, the issue of dog fouling in the Oversley Green area and also litter throughout the town.
"We will be working with the council to address these issues over the weeks ahead and will give feedback on our progress at the next PACT meeting."
Issues discussed at the last meeting meant that high visibility patrols have been used to deter the use of quad bikes and mini motos on Conway Fields and police working in close liaison with Alcester Pub Watch to address antisocial behaviour on High Street and Evesham Road in the early hours of Saturday and Sunday mornings.
The town council also concentrated on tackling the litter problem near Moorfields Park.
Sgt Wild added: "We hope people will feel reassured by the actions police and partners are taking to tackle these priority issues, and that they will continue to share their concerns with us so that we can work together to make our local communities even safer."
