ALCESTER and Studley MP Nadhim Zahawi has retained the seat he has held in Stratford for seven years with 33,657 votes.
The MP also increased his majority by more than 3,000 votes.
The turnout was 74 per cent, just over one per cent more than in 2015.
Despite the disappointment for the rest of the candidates, Labour's Jeff Kenner did achieve an impressive feat, polling 11,699 votes, in excess of 5,000 votes more than in 2015.
Placing third was Elizabeth Adams (Lib Dem) with 6,357 votes, fourth was Dominic Giles (Green) 1,345 votes, fifth Jandy Spurway (Independent) 255 votes and sixth was Tom Darwood (Independent) 219 votes.
