THE Royal British Legion's Alcester branch has almost reached its £13,000 target for the 2016 Poppy Appeal.
The legion now have until September this year to raise the remaining £650, and to bring them even closer to their target, a coffee morning is being held on Saturday, April 8.
The fundraiser will be held at St Nicholas’ Church House, the meeting hall accessible via the passageway off Butter Street from 10am until noon.
Everyone is invited to attend the event which will include a raffle and refreshments.
