ALCESTER Health Centre has been accredited as a yellow fever unit.
The fully registered centre is one of a small number within South Warwickshire and the Midlands.
Yellow fever is an acute viral illness which is spread by the female mosquito within certain areas of South America and Africa.
The centre will provide private travel vaccinations to both registered and non-registered patients, and nursing staff will be able to answers questions on the vaccination and the disease.
A spokesman from the centre said: "In order to prevent further transmission yellow fever vaccination has become a border control necessity for many countries, where proof of vaccination is required for travel."
Information on the yellow fever virus, the immunisation itself and border control requirements for all countries can be found at: travelhealthpro.org.uk/diseases/yellowfever and wwwc.cdc.gov/travel/yellowbook/2016/infectious-diseases-related-to-travel/yellow-fever-malaria-information-by-country.
